St James's is a mixed National School for children from
Junior Infants to 6th class. We have a strong sense of community and work together to make our school a happy place where learning is fun and every child is valued. We are an active school that believes that children learn best through play and in the outdoors. Our local environment supplies us with many rich learning opportunities. We make frequent trips to Stradbally Cove, to Woodhouse estate and Stradbally village, all of which we can reach within just a few minutes on foot. St James's church is right beside us and we have close links to the church community. We are proud to play an active role in Stradbally Tidy Towns and are delighted to have done our little bit to help our village renew their Gold medal.
